Valla Rod Run
Beginning in 1977 as a 2-day weekend event with only 72 cars, the annual Valla Park Rod Run (usually in October) has grown to in excess of a full week of indulgence, with an average of around 350 cars each year.

Local Produce, Food and Drinks, Art and Craft, Clothing and Plants; Plenty of parking – Dog (on lead) friendly venue. Music: TBA Attractions: TBA + Free Family Arts and Crafts with Phillida, Book Reading with Sue.
Great National Koala Park is Approved! (Sept 2025)
Koalas need our help. Without swift action, they could become. The Great Koala National Park has the potential to become a national treasure — rivalling destinations like the Blue Mountains and the Great Barrier Reef. Right now, logging is still happening within the proposed park boundaries.
Valla Expressions Art Show: Jan 2026
2026 Valla Expressions Art show showcases the works of local artists – Valla Beach Community Hall (Valla Beach Road). Grand Opening: 10am Sat 3rd January 2026, then daily 10am to 5pm until Sunday Sun Jan 11th. Open late on January 4th 2026 until 7pm.
